Update: Christmas may be over, and all the deals that came with it, but we've collected all the best Nintendo Switch Lite deals for you to check out.
Where to buy Nintendo Switch online is a question on the minds of many as Christmas rapidly approaches. Due to a major shortage of chips and other snags in the global supply chain, Nintendo has cut production of the Switch by 20 per cent, and that means that a lot of retailers are sold out a lot of the time – and when stock does come in, it often sells out very quickly, particularly in the US.
This all means that finding a Nintendo Switch right now takes a little legwork, or at least keyboard-work since you'll often need to check several retailers. In this guide, we aim to make that task a little easier by providing quick links to the retailers that tend to get restocks and the latest status at each, plus links to the best current deals when they're available. For very specific bundle offers, take a look at our best Nintendo Switch deals page.
Take a look below and you should find a chance to get hold of a Nintendo Switch though – at least the original console or the Nintendo Switch Lite (for the even more elusive new OLED model, see our dedicated guide to Nintendo Switch OLED restocks – Very and Currys have stock in the UK).
Just keep in mind the standard retail prices of each console to make sure you don't get charged more because Amazon and Walmart carry a lot of Nintendo Switches from resellers who've snapped them up and are now charging inflated prices. The regular Nintendo Switch retails at $299.99/£259, the Nintendo Switch Lite at $199.99/£199 and Switch OLED at $349.99/£309. With that in mind, read on to see where to buy Nintendo Switch online right now.

Where to buy the Nintendo Switch OLED
Launched in October, the Nintendo Switch OLED is the latest model of the Nintendo Switch. Like the original Nintendo Switch, you can play games on it directly, or plug it into your TV via a dock, but it improves on the basic model in a number of ways. Best of all, it boasts a larger (7-inch), brighter and more detailed OLED screen. It also has a better kickstand, higher quality audio and an improved dock.
With stock on the original Nintendo Switch already low in many country's it comes as no surprise that this new improved edition is even harder to get hold of. See our dedicated page on where to buy a Nintendo Switch OLED to keep up to date with stock. We're seeing no stock in the US at the moment, but you can buy the Switch OLED from Very or Currys in the UK, and even save a little on the standard price. Very has bundles from £349.98 (opens in new tab), and Currys has the OLED with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and an SD card for £369 (opens in new tab).
